Hello world! Welcome to my brandnew site!

As of today my new domain www.pingwing.eu has been registered and activated. It’s not that I really need my own domain or something, but my former host (www.wordpress.com) was a little too restricting. Having your own domain and hosting area grants you access to a level of customization that wordpress.com doesn’t.

On the History page you can find a brief story about the history of my blogging which currently ends right here.

Anyway, from this day forward I shall be posting here instead of on my old blog on wordpress.com. I will be copying the most important stuff from there to this new blog in the next couple of days and I will also complete the pages and then the blogging will continue. And since I’m on my own domain now, I shall be blogging a bit more. I don’t expect to be writing on a daily basis, but I’ll be aiming at at least twice a week and I’ll try to blog even more.

So, what’s the news besides the move? Well, not too much. Like I mentioned on my old blog, I’ve had my first live gig with my band last weekend and I’ll be posting some pics and vids of that as well as a full report from my own point of view very soon.I had mentioned a Saturn Analog controller on my old blog a few weeks ago, but unfortunatly I had to cancel that one. The webshop wasn’t giving me anything like an ordernumber by which they could recognize my order and also the e-mails seemed a bit awkward, so I decided that I didn’t quite trust it and thus I let it die. I never heard anything from them anymore, so I guess it’s ok. It’s too bad, but I’m stupid enough to throw my money away to someone I don’t trust.

And lastly I ordered the new EP from Full Diesel, which is great! As with the previous one, the artwork is outstanding. The songs are good as well, which is the most important part of a CD afterall.
Full Diesel isn’t a really well known band, but they were featured on the FlatOut soundtrack. I, for one, think they’re quite good, even good enough to purchase 4 song EPs from. If you’d like to check them out, follow this link.
